Hey there!

There is this Amazing wardrobe at the local thrift store, and I was wondering if there are any experts that have any information at all about it? Age, value, style? I've attached a bunch of pictures and a link to a video I took. It really is beautiful, but I know virtually nothing about antique furniture.

Looking for pulls for a roll top desk. Are 3 1/8" edge to edge. From the American Cabinet Company in Two Rivers Wisconsin. I have two drawers missing. Any help in locating these would be much appreciated.

Good evening,

I have aquired an old desk I would like to restore using original materials.
But I am not sure exactly where to start on dating the piece to research what materials were commonly used in that time frame.

Hi,

They are signed, usually in the lower right hand corner. They are signed Joy Caros. Their usually priced anywhere from $500 - $1000 and above. Thanks for keeping any eye out.

Cheers

You cannot place a financial figure on the reasons for buying or collecting antiques, sometimes a person simply loves an item.

Hello everyone!

Maybe we can have an ongoing vintage and antique finds thread here.

A perfect thread to share your collection, for antique discussion and references.

Show us what you found!

Hello Everyone,

will set up a booth at the Drummondville show this weekend ... it's the biggest collectible show in Quebec ... with antiques, vintage collectibles but also new stuff. I'm usually not a fan of having new items but at that show, it works great.

There is also a lot of collectors that present their collection. It's really fun talking with them they have so much knowledge.

Will post pictures next week.

Hope to see you there,
CauchysAntiques

Ps you can view the list of we will do this year at our next show section

Hello MimiAntiques and all of you,

I remember on time I purchased a Devilbiss Imperial perfume atomizer in damaged/cracked from a fellow ebayer (a very high-end seller). He was selling his leftovers and unwanted at the Lachute flea market. Got it for almost nothing and sold it on eBay for over a thousand dollar in 2006. He was really impressed.

I can't find the picture but will look for it next week ... added a similar (but not as good as the other one) Devilbiss Imperial atomizer.

Have a nice day ... keep hunting
